Since our second event two months ago, the INdiana Sustainability Alliance (“INSA”) has continued to receive feedback and input from you about INSA's programs and opportunities.  We are pleased to announce INSA's next program hosted by Vectren Corporation. 

Please join us on September 17, 2008 for INSA's event at Vectren Corporation, 211 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville, Indiana 47711.

Registration and networking begins 5:00 p.m. (CST), during which the Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel will provide a welcome and introduction to the program. 

At 6:30 p.m., INSA will host a panel discussion regarding the challenges and opportunities provided by LEED certified buildings and emerging green businesses.  The panel will be moderated by Jeffrey W. Whiteside, Vice President, External Affairs and Sustainability, and will feature Bill Brown, Associate Partner, Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf, Brad Morton, Owner, Morton Energy, and Paul Jones, Attorney, Ice Miller LLP.

LEED for General Contractors/Construction Managers is designed to help general contractors and construction managers understand LEED® as it relates to their project role, with a focus on technical requirements (particularly materials, resources, and indoor environmental quality credits). The course includes strategies for general contractor and subcontractor documentation and costs tracking.
