Membership Structure

The Advisory Members are a select group of companies that hold a position on the INSA Advisory Board. These members are instrumental in the direction of organization and enjoy all the benefits the organization has to offer.

Charter Member
Charter Membership provides the members with the ability to leverage INSA and take part in $300 million savings effort. Through this program, INSA will provide expertise to these companies and organizations to help reduce energy costs. Additionally, Charter Members will have direct access to post RFPs and have direct access to INSA’s supplier network.

Supplier
Supplier membership provides unique access to the other members of INSA. Suppliers will be able to leverage INSA to take part in a $400 million spend effort – the result of the Charter Members $300 million savings effort. Suppliers will also have the opportunity to introduce their strategies and receive regular promotion of their offerings.

Membership Benefits
Gain knowledge through educational roundtables
Throughout the year, numerous events will be held featuring professionals and experts with first-hand knowledge and experience of sustainability programs. Our Executive Insight meetings will assist leaders with various aspects of sustainability, while our Technical Insight meetings will concentrate on more detailed issues.

Extend your network
INSA events are more than educational. We establish an environment that connects professionals with other professionals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise leading to a wide network of support and knowledge.

Find value in “Treasure Hunts”
INSA will assist its members in the process to find opportunities to reduce cost and establish financial savings within their organization. Through our team, energy audits can be conducted to help provide a clear path to sustainability success.

Receive implementation support
While launching a successful sustainability program can be a daunting task, INSA’s team makes itself available to assist in the implementation process by connecting you with knowledge, resources and strategies.

Get the training you need
In addition to our roundtables, INSA will provide training to its members to support various sustainability activities.

Expand knowledge through research
INSA will provide its members with the top research and whitepapers on sustainability. The organization will fully vet the content to ensure you are getting information that represents best practices.

Stay on top of emerging trends and industry news
INSA will be creating a quarterly magazine on sustainability profiling member’s efforts, new technologies, in-depth interviews and other advances. This will be supplemented by a monthly electronic newsletter providing state and industry updates. Additionally, members will have access to our real time sustainability news feed through the members-only web platform.

Access RFPs
Members will be able to post and respond to request for proposals published in the members-only online platform.

Find the professionals you need
Through the online career center, members can gain access to quality talent to fulfill any sustainability needs.

Connect through the INSA collaborative environment
A major benefit for INSA members is access to our online collaborative platform. Serving as the hub for communication and knowledge, all research, news, directories, RFPs, support and the like is available here.

Collaborative Work Environment
A major membership benefit is access to INSA’s Collaborative Work Environment. The CWE will serve as the hub for all members to access the vast array of tools assisting companies and individuals in their sustainability and energy management programs.

In the CWE, members will be able to use a variety of models, calculators, work instructions, forms, project templates and technical write-ups. The platform provides tools for work labs, collegiate work groups, task management and webinars. Additionally, members will have immediate access to industry whitepapers, news tracking, and research that has been thoroughly vetted by the INSA team.

Another major benefit of the CWE is the RFP and Career Center pieces that will be integrated into the system. Members can post RFPs for their energy projects, which will be made available to the supplier membership – additional services to assist companies in the RFP process are possible through INSA. The Career Center will be the location for companies to access talent from around the state that have interest and expertise in sustainability to fill internal needs within their organization.
